Foodie heaven
Whitstable is a mecca for people who love food, and it is known for its delicious oysters. This beautiful seaside town has many independent restaurants and bars, most of which are just a short stroll away from the cottage. However, if you prefer dining at home, our well-equipped kitchen and the outdoor kitchen with BBQ/Pizza oven/Smoker make it a chef’s paradise.
Entertainment for all
We have a retro record player and a fabulous vinyl record collection that guests are welcome to use, as well as digital speakers and a Jambox. In the garden room, we have a cinema projector and screen where guests can watch films, documentaries, and sports on Sky TV, or watch a movie from the cottage’s DVD film collection.
There is super-fast WiFi throughout the cottage and garden room, and if you prefer your entertainment more low-fi, the cottage has a wide selection of books and games too.
Dogs are welcome
We are very dog-friendly. We supply a large dog basket, dog treats, and dog bowls, plus a doggie manual with essential information for dog owners and recommendations on the best dog walks in the local area.
The cottage has wooden floorboards throughout, and we have a handheld Dyson as well as a Henry for vacuuming up dog hair. Our private garden is 100% dog-proof.
A good night’s sleep
Our three large double bedrooms all have vintage double beds with modern, well-sprung mattresses for a fantastic night’s sleep, and all our linen and towels are high-thread Egyptian cotton.
We provide a range of high-quality toiletries for guests to use, from Aesop body wash to relaxing scented candles.
